Artist Residencies
Our JazzMetroplex Artist Residency Program offers emerging and established jazz musicians the time, space, and support to create, collaborate, and connect.
Residency Highlights:
- 2–4 week immersive residencies in Dallas Public performances and artist talks
- Community engagement and school visits

Residencies provide a platform for innovation, allowing artists to explore new material while enriching the local cultural landscape.
Workshops & Professional Development
We support lifelong learning and career growth through professional workshops and industry-focused events.
Offerings Include:
- Artist development sessions on touring, publishing, and marketing
- Panel discussions with agents, festival programmers, and label executives
- Business of Jazz Workshops (in partnership with Jazz-Con)
- Entrepreneurship training for independent artists
Workshops are offered both virtually and in person, with content tailored to the needs of working musicians, educators, and arts leaders.
